We hope this communication finds you well, remaining safe, and taking care.
It’s certainly been a challenging time, and it doesn’t appear an end to the challenges presented by COVID-19 are imminent. Thank you for your patience as we’ve worked through how to handle this year’s Annual Conference. With your health and safety our primary concern, we’ve decided to cancel the 2020 conference. It was a difficult decision, given all everyone appreciates about the conference—especially the opportunity for in-person networking with your colleagues. We will miss being with all of you!
We’re now in the process of finalizing the details on a new offering, which we hope you’ll find as exciting as we do. As sketched out, NAGDCA Connect is a virtual engagement and learning series launching in October, coinciding with National Retirement Security Month. The format includes a variety of topical sessions and small group discussions providing the opportunity to learn and network with your peers. Among the plusses to this online format is the opportunity for those who haven’t been able to join us in the past to experience the benefits NAGDCA provides.
Stay tuned! We’ll be back to you within the next several weeks to provide more details about NAGDCA Connect. For those of you who registered for the 2020 conference, thank you; we will be in touch over the next week. If you reserved a room in NAGDCA’s room block at the Hyatt Regency Seattle or the Residence Inn Seattle, your reservation will be cancelled and you will receive a cancellation confirmation via email.
