Ketul Thaker rejoined Voya in 2019 as Vice President, Consultant Relations. Prior to joining Voya, Thaker was with MassMutual for over three years as Head of Consultant Relations for the Institutional Retirement business. Before MassMutual, Thaker spent 10+ years at ING/Voya, serving in a variety of roles, primarily in the organization’s Tax-Exempt Market business.
Thaker’s prior responsibilities at Voya include managing relationships with national and regional defined contribution (DC) consulting firms, as well as with key Industry Associations including NAGDCA, ASBO, AASA, and CUPA-HR. He also held a dual sales & leadership role on a Design for Six Sigma growth initiative, launched a centralized sales desk, and oversaw the national launch of an online 403(b) for the Education Market.
Thaker earned both BA (1998) and MBA (2003) degrees in International Management and Finance, respectively, from the University of Connecticut. Thaker has been involved with NAGDCA for nearly 10 years and, in 2015, was elected to the Industry Committee. Thaker is also a frequent speaker and moderator at national and regional DC industry conferences.
