NAGDCA's Legislative Update to Provide Overview of Pending Legislation, Recap of Capitol Hill Visit, and to Discuss Impact to Defined Contribution Industry

The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, Inc. (NAGDCA) has opened registration for its highly anticipated Legislative Update NAGDCAST. This upcoming webcast, scheduled for March 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. EST, will examine important legislative issues affecting the defined contribution industry.

Confirmed speakers include Gerri Madrid, National Conference of State Legislatures; Milly Stanges, ICMA-RC; and Susan J. White, NAGDCA Legislative Counsel, Susan J White & Associates. Topics for NAGDCA's Legislative Update will include pending legislation and its impact on the defined contribution industry, and a review of the NAGDCA Executive Board's February 26-27 visits to Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress. In addition, the NAGDCA Board sat down with Treasury Department Officials and state congressional staff to discuss issues affecting state and local defined contribution plans. The webcast will also provide an update regarding the Senate Resolution for National Save for Retirement Week, which will be introduced in the coming months.

Registration for the NAGDCA Legislative Update is free for government members and $100.00 for non-members. More than 200 participants are expected to participate.
