This award recognizes a member of the media for outstanding coverage of pension and retirement issues in newspapers, magazines, national newsletters or research reports. The media source must be nationally distributed either in print or on-line. The 2008 award will be presented at NAGDCA's 2008 Annual Conference, "O Say, Can You See…a Secure Retirement?" to be held September 13-17, 2008 in Baltimore, MD.

NAGDCA members and the media are encouraged to submit nominations for a published article; articles or reports that they believe have been particularly effective in discussing issues or concepts related to retirement issues generally and/or administration of defined contribution plans that relate to state or local governments and their employees.

Considerations will be made on a fiscal year basis, from July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008. The award will be given for a specific article or for outstanding cumulative coverage over the year in review.

To submit a nomination, complete the following form and submit it along with the article(s) or report(s) on which the nomination is based.
