On behalf of the Annual Conference Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to the 2015 NAGDCA Annual Conference being hosted in Indianapolis, IN!
Indianapolis boasts a vibrant downtown, which was rated among the best downtowns in the United States by both Forbes and Livability.com.
This year's conference will be held at the JW Marriott Indianapolis. The hotel is just steps away from the Indianapolis Zoo, beautiful White River State Park, museums, shopping, and dining. The hotel’s central location will allow conference attendees to make the most of their trip.
This year's conference theme is ‘Rev Up Your Retirement.’ The conference will have many opportunities for continuing education and networking for NAGDCA members. Many of the session topics are ones that were proposed by members from survey responses, and include a blend of new topics as well as case studies from successful DC plans. The conference committee has worked hard to create an agenda that focuses on retirement readiness and I am very proud of the product they have produced!
I am pleased to announce that this year's keynote speaker is Teresa Ghilarducci, author, labor economist, and nationally-recognized expert in retirement security. Teresa is a professor of economics at The New School She holds the Bernard L. and Irene Schwartz Chair in economic policy analysis and directs the Schwartz Center for Economic Policy Analysis (SCEPA) that focuses on economic policy research and outreach.
In addition, I am also proud to announce that Jodi DiCenzo will be our closing speaker. Jodi has over 20 years of experience in financial consulting, focusing on applying academic behavioral research to help optimize individuals’ decision making. Founder of Behavioral Research Associates, Jodi was one of 200 appointed delegates to the 2002 National Summit on Retirement Savings held in Washington, D.C.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognize the other members of the Annual Conference Committee who have spent a great deal of time putting together this conference:
John Borne, Empower Retirement
John Eckhardt, City and County of Denver
Rey Guillen, County of Santa Clara
Regina Hilbert, Retired from Suffolk County, NY
Jim Link, PFM Asset Management
Erin Sheridan, State of Indiana
Kathleen Wilson, ICMA-RC
