Are you a government member interested in serving on the NAGDCA Executive Board as Secretary/Treasurer or Member-at-Large? If so, please complete the statement of Intent Form and submit it to NAGDCA Headquarters. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 1, 2012.
Member-at-large: The member-at-large position is a 2 year term. While historically the person in this position has run for the Secretary position at the end of their 2 year member-at-large term this is not a requirement. An individual can serve in the member-at-large position for thier 2 year term commitment and then rotate off the Board.
Secretary: The Secretary position is a one year term which automatically suceeds to the Vice President, President, and then Past President positions for a total commitment of 4 years.
Nomination and election procedures for both of the available positions are summarized below. A list of Board member roles and responsibilities along with the estimated time commitments is included here.
Please consider seeking nomination and helping to continue NAGDCA's growth and viability in our ever-changing industry. If you have questions or comments, please contact Tracy Tucker at NAGDCA at 859-514-9210.
