What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a family of digital content feeds from web sites designed to distribute frequently updated content. Sometimes RSS feeds are referred to as news feeds, webfeeds or as XML feeds. These include news headlines, summaries, blogs and links back to full-text articles on the web. RSS is a simple way to get news delivered straight to you from web sites you choose as they are updated. It's a convenient way for you to keep up with news, events and publication releases from NAGDCA in summary form, and then visit the website to read full digital content that interests you.
How do I view an RSS feed?
To view RSS feeds you must download software called a news reader or news aggregator or use integrated support for RSS already in your web browser. Some news readers are free and others are available for purchase. There are many product reviews online, so do a little research and you're sure to find an RSS reader that meets your needs.
