Welcome to the NAGDCA Website. Before you begin to search the information available on our site, I'd like to let you know a little about our organization.
The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators (NAGDCA) was founded in 1980. NAGDCA is a professional organization made up of the deferred compensation/defined contribution plan administrators from the 50 states and over 100 local governments and entities, as well as the private industry plan providers. NAGDCA is an organization in which the members work together to improve government defined contribution plans through a sharing of information on investments, marketing, administration and laws relating to public sector deferred compensation/defined contribution plans. The association also gathers, disseminates,
and exchanges information relating to the plans and works to impact laws and regulations concerning deferred compensation/defined contribution programs through a united effort. I believe the goals of the organization are well-reflected by information available on this site.
From the Surveys of Defined Contribution Plans, where NAGDCA is able to offer colleagues vital statistics on the defined contribution industry, to the Clearinghouse, where you can request copies of documents from members, NAGDCA strives to be a leader in providing valuable information and training. In addition, NAGDCA publications offer the most in-depth and current information available in the deferred compensation/defined contribution arena.
It is our hope that this site will continue our efforts to provide valuable information to those involved in the industry. Please take some time to search the different areas and let us know your thoughts. We welcome any suggestions which you may have, but most of all we welcome your support as we work together to assure that plan administrators and plan providers present participants with the information and education needed for their retirement.

Pursuant to IRS Regulations, it is the policy of NAGDCA to allow public access to its original exemption application and to its IRS Form 990. In addition, NAGDCA will make copies of its governing documents, conflict of interest policy/disclosures, and year-end financial statements available to the public. This access will be provided at NAGDCA's principal headquarters offices at a time mutually agreeable between its headquarters and the individual requesting the inspection during regular business hours. In addition, NAGDCA will make each Form 990 information return available for a period of 3 years from filing. Headquarters will provide a copy of the exemption application or Form 990 without charge, other than a reasonable fee for reproduction and actual postage costs, as applicable. The copy must include all information furnished to the IRS as well as all schedules, attachments, and supporting statements, except for the name and address of any contributor to the organization. For further detailed information regarding these IRS requirements, refer to the General Instructions for Form 990.
