(Lexington, KY) – The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, Inc. (NAGDCA) is honored today to have its President, Mindy Harris, speak at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. Harris will be a panelist on the Adult/Workplace Financial Literacy Panel which will focus on cross generations (baby boomers, seniors, etc.) and retirement savings.
Harris will speak to a crowd of approximately 300 attendees comprised of delegates, legislative staff, and policy makers. Harris will discuss National Save for Retirement Week, a congressional endorsed initiative to promote saving for retirement, and NAGDCA's partnership with the Financial Education Literacy Network to develop a database for financial literacy materials. In addition, Harris will describe specific efforts employers can initiate to promote retirement savings and financial literacy to their employees.

NAGDCA's Vice-President, Alex Turner, will serve on a similar panel at the Republican National Convention on September 2nd in Minneapolis, MN.
