NAGDCA Celebrates Their 30th Anniversary

(Lexington, KY) – The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, Inc. (NAGDCA) is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its founding in 1980.  In celebration of its achievements NAGDCA will share with its members a recap of the milestones and memories of the last 30 years. A special commemorative website was created and members can upload photographs, favorite NAGDCA memories and submit member profiles.

Edward Lilly, 2010 NAGDCA President, observed that over the past 30 years, NAGDCA has provided state and local governments that sponsor defined contribution retirement savings plans with exemplary educational programs, a voice before Congress to represent the interests of plan sponsors and participants, and a platform for administrators to share information with each other. Lilly stated “NAGDCA has been instrumental in assuring that public employer defined contribution plans are administered professionally, transparently, and in conformance with best practices. It has and will continue to consistently provide quality services, education programs, and peer-to-peer resources.”

“The friends and networking opportunities that I have gained over these 30 years as a NAGDCA member has been invaluable,” said Ronnie Nichols, NAGDCA member.
