The National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators, Inc. (NAGDCA) has opened registration for their annual legislative webcast. This highly anticipated webcast scheduled on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 2:00p.m. - 3:30p.m. EDT will provide an update on important legislative issues affecting the defined contribution industry.
Anyone interested can register via the NAGDCA website at http://www.nagdca.org/content.cfm/id/nagdcasts. Over 100 participants are expected to participate.
The webcast will be moderated by Ed Lilly, State of New York, NAGDCA Past President and Legislative Chair. Speakers include Cheryl Press, Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service and Susan White, Susan J. White & Associates, NAGDCA Legislative Counsel.
Topics for NAGDCA's Legislative Update will include pending legislation and its impact on the defined contribution industry, National Save for Retirement Week (October 16-22, 2011) and a review of the NAGDCA Executive Board's March 28-29 visits on Capitol Hill. Cheryl Press will be addressing issues related to implementation of Roth designated contributions and In-plan Roth conversions in 457 plans.
